Artsy Project: Make tea party dishes

Make tea party dishes: Needed: miscellaneous stemware and dessert plates. Household silicon sealant (the kind used for aquariums) frosted glass spray paint, colored spray paint, paper doilies.
Here's what I did:

I'm currently waiting for them to glue together. Once it's glued I'll look them over again and wash them. They take 16 hours to cure. Should be good overnight, it's been really warm.
Here I glued the apothecary jars. The first glue (super) didn't work. So I scratched off the superglue and used the silicone sealant. I looked online for the manual for the sealant and it can be used on wood and glass. So, Yay! These look kinda cool for a first try.
Here are the frames I painted. I hope to attached them via ribbon to a drape rack. It could look very cool. For now though, the frames fit into a scheme, black and dark and goth and pretty.

  1. I love what you've done with the apothecary jars. Was that your original idea? Where'd you get the inspiration?
