Walter and his mom, make her proud, donate today and help Walter's peeper!
So, today is great day. Not only did Walter and I complete and send in our taxes together without killing anyone, but he finally got out the fundraising.
A Brief history - my husband has known about the cataracts he has for about 2 1/2 years. We realized at one point his eyesight was getting noticeably worse so we went in and the Dr. found a cataract in each eye. We thought we'd be able to save up, but lately we've had a slew of bills to pay from the IRS & our gas company. So, we haven't been able to save, and his eyesight is now to the point where he recently told he he's having a hard time reading books. This breaks my heart. I know how much it hurts him, a young man, in his prime, losing a very valued sense. I know this is hard on him and he's been stalling on asking for help, because, let's face it, asking for help is hard for most of us. But, we need it. This is worth it, it's his sight. Walter being able to see would vastly improve his life, and mine. If you would like to help him see too, you can donate here: http://www.giveforward.com/savemypeeper
