Mixed Tape Catalogue: Craig's I love Your Face Mix

From my friend Craig, you can read his musically inclined blog here. I read it myself pretty regularly because he has wonderfully refined taste and I love hearing about his new discoveries.
Among the discoveries for me on this mix was "Don't Drop the Baby" which I love, and no, I don't know why. It's a twisted song. Also, another great find for me Interlude (I love The Smiths and Siouxsie), I'd never heard this until I got this mix. I adore the song. It's really lovely hearing such beautiful voices singing together, finally. It's truly a meeting of the goth gods.
Strangely enough, I like the mix in here of Korn and The Cure. But, that said I don't think I'd ever pick up a Korn album on my own, what makes the song for me is Robert Smith. This song has reminded me that I need to go out and buy more Cure cds. I'm in need of some remastered Cure.
I also enjoyed the Freezepop cover of DM's Photographic. I love the original, it's by far my favorite song off of Speak and Spell and this is a solid cover.

  1. I Love you, I really need to work on my blog again. I haven't posted since Feb. It's been a crazy year. In saying that it really should motivate me to post more but it hasn't.
